Welcome to TheImageBarn.com! The imprinting that our company uses is called "sublimation printing." This process starts with creating an original image (graphics, text, etc.) in Corel or other PC graphic software. The image is printed on a printer using sublimation dye inks. The printer output is then used to transfer the image onto various objects (cloth, ceramic, metal, wood, etc.) through use of a heat press. Full color images are rendered onto the object in this way. When finished these objects are very smooth to the touch, since the images are imbedded into the object’s surface, and not applied on top of the surface as happens with silk screening methods. Also, there is no setup cost as with silk screening and no minimum order required, so products can be made to order. We initially started our sublimation printing business to serve various youth and livestock groups such as 4H, FFA, AV Fair, Bakersfield Fair, etc. Our business was built around banners, signs and award plaques for these agricultural community events. This sublimation process makes it is easy to produce small quantities or one-of-a-kind imprinted objects. You come up with ideas and the artwork and in a day or so you have a creative one of a kind item. Take a look around and if you don't see what you are looking for drop us an email and we will see what we can do.
